- The Search for Meaning
-
“The Search for Meaning”:
- The future of the organisation and its relationship to all stakeholders is critical. Before even attempting to define a strategy, we have to find meaning for what we will do.
- Charles Handy has established himself as one of the pre-eminent business thinkers of the latter part of the 20th century.
- He will guide the senior team to put organisational purpose in context.
- Gary Hamel
-
“Those who live by the sword will be shot by those who don’t”.
- The opinionated, sometimes acerbic, voice of contemporary strategy is Gary Hamel.
- Establishing a clear, radical approach to future value is the directors’ purpose.
- Gary will help make the right path evident.
- Governance and the Regulator
-
“Governance and the Regulator”:
- How will global regulatory requirements shape our intended actions?
- Alexander Kern, author of the joint US/UK governments 2004 working paper on “Corporate Governance and Banking Regulation” will lead discussion on what is and what is not going to happen in the future.
- The strategy adjusts to match that future.
